Most compliance vendors hide the government fee inside a bundle so the price looks like one number. FMCSA's fraud advisories single out exactly that practice. Our tools do the opposite: the government fee is on one line, our fee is on another, and the rule that sets the government fee is cited. A carrier who runs the UCR calculator knows the 2027 fee for a three-truck fleet is 167 USD before anyone talks to them.
The tools also cover the questions that generate the most calls to our office. When is my biennial update due? What will my IFTA return look like this quarter? What does it actually cost to get authority? The answers are arithmetic once you know the rule, and the rule is written under each result.
Cross-border carriers get the same treatment. The IFTA tool takes Quebec and Ontario rows in US gallons and miles so a carrier based in Napierville or Mississauga can check its US quarter before Revenu Québec or the Ontario Ministry of Finance sees it.

Are these tools free to use?
Yes. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent to us, and you do not need to enter contact details. Every calculation runs in your browser.
How accurate are the numbers?
Government fees such as UCR brackets and the 300 USD authority fee are exact as published. IFTA tax rates change every quarter, so the IFTA tool uses approximate rates and says so; check the current rate table before filing. Profirm service fees come from our price list.
Can I file directly from a tool?
No. The tools estimate and explain. Filing goes through Motus for FMCSA registrations, your base state for UCR and your base jurisdiction for IFTA. If you want us to file, each tool links to the matching service page.
Do the tools work for Canadian carriers?
Yes. The IFTA calculator includes Quebec and Ontario, the UCR calculator applies to Canadian carriers running into the US, and the MCS-150 rule is the same for any USDOT number. The start-up calculator assumes a US registration; Canadian carriers usually already have their provincial registrations and only need the US pieces.
