Pay by card or ACH. The consortium certificate goes out the same business day; filings start the day your identity check clears in Motus.

What you will need
- Your USDOT number, if you have one. If not, we start there.
- Driver names and CDL numbers, with the issuing state or province.
- Company legal name and address as registered.
- A signed drug and alcohol policy. We provide it; you sign it.
- For filings: the name of your insurance agent and, for Motus, an owner or employee who can complete the Login.gov identity check.
Step 3, payment, happens after we confirm the details. You receive a payment link by email. We never ask for card numbers over an unsolicited call.
Frequently asked questions
What happens after I submit the form?
A compliance specialist calls or emails the same business day to confirm the details, sends the drug and alcohol policy for signature and a payment link. Once paid, the consortium certificate is issued the same day.
Can I enroll by phone instead?
Yes. Call us with your USDOT number, if you have one, and your driver list. Enrollment takes about five minutes.
Do I pay government fees to you?
Only where a filing requires it and always at cost, listed separately on the invoice. Operating authority is paid directly on Pay.gov by the company official. UCR bracket fees are passed through at the government amount.
Is there a contract?
No. Annual services renew once a year with a reminder 30 days ahead. Cancel any time.
I am a Canadian carrier. Can I enroll here?
Yes. Quebec and Ontario carriers running into the US enroll through the same form. Pick "Cross-border" in the service field and we handle both sides.
